ABOUT ALY-SLAY

ALY-SLAY is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter known for her genre-blending sound, soulful lyricism, and dynamic presence on stage. Performing live throughout the city, Aly has graced the stages of iconic establishments including The Viper Room, Rudolph's Bar & Tea at the Freehand Hotel, Daddy Diamonds Hollywood, and completed a prior residency at The Room in Hollywood. Her talent has also taken her to Las Vegas, where she has performed at exclusive events and recorded music out of legendary The Hideout (Las Vegas), Sound Emporium (Nashville), Paramount Recording & Amerycan Studios (Los Angeles), Speakeasy Sound (Los Angeles), The Watche (Los Angeles), Global Hustle Entertainment (Los Angeles), and The Spot (Los Angeles), among others.

Music to Change the World's mission is to bring up emerging artists from a variety of genres and light up every room, stage, or venue she or they have the opportunity to perform or record. 

​

Alyson has collaborated with platinum-selling producers and engineers including Nechi Noir, GMBeatz, and JBeatzz. Her newly released single, "Be With You" — a deeply personal track she wrote dedicated to her late mentor J. Hatch — was recorded and engineered by Nechi Noir, on the heels of her first single, “Don’t Play,” an Afropop track she released last summer featuring VGA. She has also collaborated with Grammy Winner Chris Brown and Grammy nominated Singer-Songwriter Kevin McCall.

She has been featured in The Hype Magazine, The Star List, Canvas Rebel, BOLD Journey and on the Featured Guest Podcast, among other press, highlighting her as an emerging force in the independent music scene. ALY=SLAY's creative identity is driven by innovative storytelling, striking melodies, and a commitment to authenticity that connects with audiences on every stage she steps onto.

(Global Hustle Entertainment), "You" (DASH Radio), "LOVE w Me" ft. Donn John$on (DASH Radio), "My Jeans" ft. Donn John$on (DASH Radio), "Just Do it" ft. PRIZZY (DASH Radio), and "LOYAL" ft. Su Ivey (Eric Bellinger Studio), among others.

Alyson received her formal training in music, with a B.A. in Vocal Music Performance and Theatre Minor from Ohio Northern University. She also has a professional dance background in Hip-Hop, Street Jazz, and tap, having performed and choreographed for numerous events and venues including LA Clippers Halftime, LA Sparks Halftime, New York Liberty Halftime, LA Galaxy, the Penguins of Madagascar premiere, Alvin Ailey Extension, Viva Wyndham Grand Fortuna Bahamas, Special Olympics World Games Athlete Village at USC and UCLA, Pamper Me Fabulous, LA Dancefit, American Girl, New York Health & Racquet Club, LA Fitness, UFC Gym, Athleta, Cedars-Sinai, Kaiser Permanente, and Fabletics.

 

She utilized her formal classical music, dance and theatre training to springboard her in to a number of professional dance and choral groups throughout New York City including a range of classic choral productions, most notably singing multiple years with three-time ASCAP Award-Winning Ensemble Cantori praised by the New York Times for its “spirit of exploration” and “virtuosity and assurance." Her performance credits also include the Dessoff Symphonic Chorus at Carnegie Hall, appearing in multiple operas at Lincoln Center with Teatro de Grataciello, and the American Ballet Theatre (New York City), and Los Angeles (Cantori Domino).


Alyson currently resides in Los Angeles, California, with her music company, Music To Change the World, LLC headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. She is originally from South Charleston, OH.
